Our Schools

Four schools, one Riverbend

From a child's first day of kindergarten to a senior's last, families stay in one connected district. Each school has its own character — and shares the same crest.

A sunlit library and media commons in a Riverbend school

Every Riverbend school shares a media commons like this one — quiet, bright, and open before and after the bell.

Academics & Programs

A full education, close to home

One connected K–12 program, so a strong start in kindergarten leads somewhere — a robotics championship, an AP seminar, a role on the main stage.

Early literacy, K–2

A structured, science-of-reading foundation. Every kindergartner is screened and supported in the first six weeks.

STEM & robotics

From elementary maker spaces to a nationally-ranked high-school robotics program — hands on a real problem at every grade.

Visual & performing arts

Two ensembles, a black-box theater, and a studio-art sequence. The arts are a core subject here, not an elective afterthought.

AP & dual-enrollment

24 college-level courses at Riverbend High, plus dual-enrollment credit through County College partnerships.

Special services

In-district programs across all four schools so students receive support close to home, with their peers.

World languages

Spanish and French begin in middle school and continue through AP. Multilingual families are an asset we build on.

From the Superintendent

“Every dollar we spend and every hour we schedule comes back to one question: does this help a Riverbend student? This website is one way we answer it — a real person picks up when you call, and nothing important is ever more than a click from our front page.”
